I have worked as the Choir's assistant conductor since 2017, having previously worked as a singer and section monitor (tenors). Since then, the choir has performed in several cities across Brazil and participated in festivals and special concerts.
The group's repertoire focuses on Brazilian Sacred Music. We perform works by José Maurício Nunes Garcia, André da Silva Gomes, among others. In addition, the group performs choral works with orchestra and arrangements of Brazilian Popular Music.

The news can be followed on the choir's social networks.

Student Conductor of the Beginner & Intermediate Adult Choir - EMESP Tom Jobim

Teacher and Regent: Ana Beatriz Zaghi

The choral groups perform in a free course format offered by EMESP Tom Jobim. The 4th cycle specialization class in Choral Conducting works directly with the groups in classes, rehearsing and conducting.

The course aims to practice choral singing, covering both popular and classical repertoire. Historical approaches, musical appreciation and the development of vocal and body techniques are tools used for a better musical understanding.

Choir for Students of the UNESP Institute of Arts

The VozerIA choir was created in 2018 with the aim of offering choral practice to students of the Instituto de Artes. This institute offers courses in Music, Visual Arts and Performing Arts. At the same time, it offers a laboratory for conductors, pianists and composers.

The initiative came from me together with professors Dr. Fabio Miguel ( in memoriam) and Dr. Paulo Moura, who guided the activities.

The group performed several times at the IA - UNESP theater and performed works created by composition students and also famous arrangements of popular songs.

As it was a laboratory, students from different areas of music worked together, that is, we held workshops, activities with the participation of other students, etc. In addition, the group had vocal technique monitoring guided by a voice graduate, Kristell Péron.
